Our first meeting of the school year is going to take place on Monday September 19th at 7pm in the Library. Anyone and everyone is WELCOME. School Council is such an important part of how we do business here at GMPS and we want to encourage everyone to check it out. School Council participates in helping to inform policy and procedure, educating families and parents in areas of interest/need, fundraising and curriculum support. The Principal shares detailed reports about the ‘happenings’ at school too!
Please come and check out a meeting! If you need childcare, please call the office and let us know.
Attached is the agenda for the meeting and the minutes from our last meeting.
The above link has information regarding the BBQ on SEPTEMBER 29th – purchases available on ‘Cash Online’. We hope that some time together as a community will help set the tone for a wonderful school year!
Following the BBQ we will meet in the Gym for a brief introduction with Ms. Cameron, the Principal, and then there will be presentations by teachers in the classrooms. We hope that you are all able to join us to get to know one another and to learn more about what is in store for 2016-2017.
