Spring Art Display for Charity

Dear Community,

Students in grades 5-8 have been working on shining a bright light on the environment through their art work. Tomorrow you will have a chance to view the art from 6:15pm, before the Canada 150 concert which starts at 7pm. There will be a number attached to each art piece up for raffle. Mixed Media and Landscape art pieces are $20, and the water art is $5. Please sign up for the art piece you would like to buy, as you will receive the art piece if your name is picked. Only the person who gets their name chosen, will pay. The proceeds will go towards The Canadian Parks and Wilderness Society (CPAWS). CPAWS is Canada’s only national charity dedicated solely to the protection of our public land and water, ensuring our parks are managed to protect the nature within them. In the past 50+ years, they’ve played a lead role in protecting over half a million square kilometres – an area bigger than the entire Yukon Territory! Their vision is to protect at least half of our public land and water so that future generations can experience Canada’s irreplaceable wilderness.

Thank you for your continued support!
