Maverick Madness

After 6 weeks filled with absolute basketball madness at German Mills, we are pleased to announce that the winning team of the 2019 Maverick Madness Basketball Tournament is the Home Team Hoops!

They came from behind to beat the Jazzy J’s in overtime. Congratulations to both teams for making the final a truly epic game that Mavericks will remember for years to come.

A HUGE thank you goes out to the Maverick Madness Committee! Their help before, during and after every game ensures that the tournament is efficiently run and the reason why it continues to grow in popularity and production value. We had over 50 students across grade 6,7 and 8 participate this year and hope to see most them back next year. Thank you to the amazing referees and student score keepers who ensured that fair play and team play were a part of every game.
