A Message of Thanks from the Thornhill Community Assistance Program

On Saturday the Thornhill Christmas Assistance Program delivered holiday hampers to 117 local families.  We extend sincere thanks to the students, staff and parents of the German Mills Public School community for their support of our holiday food drive.  There were 209 adults, 68 teens and 90 children receiving gifts of food, toys, grocery store gift cards and Walmart cards (for teens).  Your help in providing a holiday gift to our neighbours-in-need was greatly appreciated.  The very generous amount of Tetley products was amazing and the donor will be thanked individually by the Committee.  The attached photos show the steps of sorting food, then preparing and filling boxes and bags of toys.  The last photo is of the special gift baskets that are prepared for ten families who are residents of Yellow Brick House.
